Such a gentle, caring, helpful and generous man, Mr. Charlie was.  Sadly, It's been years since we've been able to watch how much he truly enjoyed working in the yard that God blessed him with.  Just watching him talk about his plants as well as the butterflies made you smile. He taught me a lot about plants, insects and plant diseases. It's not very often that you find someone with such a kind heart that enjoys life's simple things so much.  I'm sure he'll be missed terribly, Ms. Andy, yet I am happy to hear that he is finally at peace.  We've missed him in the Halsey, Marshall, etc. neighborhood but a lot of us have very fond memories of Mr. Charlie.  It will always make me smile when I think of him asking everyone to save their little disposable flower pots for his seedlings and of course I can't forget to mention how awesome the kids thought he was, especially at Halloween time.  My older boys are now 33 and 25 but they will always remember that Mr. Charlie gave out the BEST and the most Halloween candy in the entire neighborhood. He surely left behind some good memories.

Andrea; ..so sorry for your loss.  Charlie was indeed a lifelong friend.  We grew up together on Betz Avenue and spent a lot of time as friends and playmates.  Even though over the years we sort of went our own way, what with marrying, starting and raising families we managed to keep in touch with each other.  As you know in recent years Charlie became my 'go-to guy' when I needed to have my AC unit serviced.  It was a great pleasure to spend time with him when he came out to service my AC; ..it was like we both were re-capturing our lost childhoods all over again.  
I will always cherish my friendship with Charles and I will cherish memories of him always.
May God grant him eternal rest.

Charlie was very helpful with all Brent house projects, we will sincerely miss him.

We have known Mr. Eady for nine years, he always had a smile and an answer to any question, he will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers are with you at your time of sorrow, stay strong.
