Charles William Hecker, Sr. at New Orleans, La. on Saturday June 26, 2010 at 7:20 AM. Age 90. Beloved husband of Irma Ward Hecker for 68 years. Father of Charles Hecker, Jr(Marleen), Gaynel H. Hughes(Raymond) and Agnes Sachitana(Thomas). Son of the late Charles Louis Hecker and Helen Bassemier. Grandfather of Thomas D. Sachitana,III(Sue), Kerri H. Wroblewski(Jeff), Lori H. Lafont(Claude), Charles W. Hecker,III(Amanda) and Raymond A. Hughes,III(Cora). Also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren and a host of cousins. Mr. Hecker was an usher at St Henry Catholic Church for over 25 years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Iron Workers Local #58, Knights Of Columbus 1405(Good Shephard) are invited to attend the funeral mass from St. Henry’s Church in Good Shepherd Parish, 812 General Pershing on Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in Lafayette Cemetery #1. Visitation on Tuesday June 29, 2010 from 10:30 AM until mass time at St. Henry’s Church.
