Obituary of Charlotte Ann Weber Robichaux
IN THE CARE OF

Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home

Charlotte Ann Weber Robichaux passed away on Monday March 30, 2020 at East Jefferson Hospital. Charlotte was born in Mississippi on September 20, 1936, moved to New Orleans as a young child and lived in Orleans and Jefferson parishes until her death. She was a proud graduate of Alcee Fortier High School where she met her beloved husband of 63 years, Maurice Lester Robichaux, Jr. Charlotte is preceeded in death by Maurice or "Morris" as she referred to him, and is survived by her loving family including son Karl Maurice Robichaux; his wife and Charlotte's daughter in law Deborah Duckett Robichaux; daughter Kelley Ann Robichaux and twin grandsons Colin O'Neal Day and Stefan Bryant Day.

Charlotte will be fondly remembered as a kind and loyal wife, mother, mother in law, Nana and friend. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement in 1998. In retirement she enjoyed gardening and home decorating as well as traveling with her husband, son and daughter in law as well as trips to visit her daughter and grandsons. Her devotion to her family was present in all that she did. She was a two time cancer survivor, a poignant example of her personal strength.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the medical personnel and staff at East Jefferson Hospital who cared for her during her last illness. Their kindness was a great source of comfort to her family who could not be with her in her last days on this earth. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband."

A private graveside service will be held on Monday April 6, 2020 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
