Chris J Roussel

Chris J. Roussel passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the age of 50. Son of the late Paul Roussel and Ruby Mary Montz. Brother of Ricky P. Roussel and Patsy R. Kruebbe. Uncle of Paul C. Roussel, Katie Lopez, and Kelley Campana.

Chris was a resident of Magnolia School for the past 17 years. He was a member of the We Care Bowling team. When he wasn’t bowling, he loved playing and watching sports, especially the New Orleans Saints. He was an avid consumer of Coca-Cola and had a social life that would be the envy of others - always attending dances and other activities with Magnolia School.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and friends at Magnolia School and the staff at Canon Hospice for their devoted care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to Magnolia School, 100 Central Ave., Jefferson, LA 70121.
