

Christiane Emilienne Mullor, 88 of Covington, Louisiana passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at her home in Covington with her family by her side. Christiane was born in Casablanca, Morocco on September 1, 1932 to Manuel Mullor of Oran, Algeria and Gabrielle Hermance Eleonore Rappard of Corbeil, France.
Christiane was known for her incomparable singing and dancing in Paris; as well as Central and South América. To these Latin Countries she sang La vie en Rose; she was its ambassador. She was quintessentially French and would light up a room with her vivacious personality. She was very proud of her career and she even did an act with “Celia Cruz” the Queen of Salsa.
Christiane is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Gabrielle; her sisters, Odett, Rolande, and Regine. She is survived by her sons; Guy Dumaine, Cyril Dumaine (Yvonne M); grandchildren; Gabrielle F. Dumaine, Christian Dumaine and Gavin Dumaine as well as her nieces and nephews in France.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation which will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006 on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM followed by a Memorial Mass at 3:30 PM in the Chapel at Leitz-Eagan. A Reception will follow the Mass. Graveside Services for Christiane will be at a later date in Paris, France.
