Claire J. Drake

Claire Jeter Drake, born April 20, 1927 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2018 at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, John F. Drake and by her parents Mary and William Jeter and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two sons, John Drake (Sybil) and Dan Drake (late Janice), grandchildren, John and David Drake, Roy, Darrell, and Jason Foret, as well as 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Leitz Eagan chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Louis #3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, Louisiana.
