Clara Julia Mancuso Lazaro

Clara Julia Mancuso Lazaro entered into heaven on Saturday, November 5, 2011 with her family at her side. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Anthony Lazaro, Sr. of 61 years. Loving mother of Joseph Anthony Lazaro, Jr. Daughter of the late Florence and Frank Mancuso. Sister of Gene Mancuso, Rose Mancuso and the late Bruno Mancuso, Edward Mancuso, Violet Mancuso, Vera M. Cerino and Albert Mancuso. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Age 89, a native of Newark, N. J., resided in East Orange, N.J., for 23 years, lived in New Orleans, LA for 18 years and a current resident of Kenner for the past 17 years. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1944 as a Registered Nurse. Clara was a parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Kenner for many years.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. Visitation from 11:00 am until funeral time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Chapel of Peace. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
