Clara Acosta McKone

Clara Acosta McKone, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Mrs. McKone was a native of Larose, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA since 1973. Beloved wife of the late William J. McKone. Mother of Kevin J. McKone (wife, Hilary), Mary Ann Cain (husband, John) and the late Patrick McKone. Grandmother of Melissa McKone, Theresa McKone and W. Connor Cain. Daughter of the late Abel Acosta and Valerie Pellegrin Acosta. Sister of the late Margie Maisano, Willie Acosta, Roy Acosta, Abel Acosta, Curnest Acosta, Clifford Acosta and Joan Stephenson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. McKone’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Juana Ortego for all of her loving care and support. Mrs. McKone was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, November 5, 2016 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
