Clare Towle (Levine) Breaux

Clare Levine Breaux, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Monday, July 30, 1934, in Mobile, Alabama, the daughter of the late Frank J. Levine and the late Hazel C. Wolfe Levine.

Clare was an accountant by trade. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and bringing some friendly competition to the table. Clare was also good with a whisk and loved to bake, especially for her family. They always looked forward to her freshly baked Italian cookies and learning her baking secrets along the way. Clare was a great travel companion; she was happy to go anywhere and experience something new. Above all, Clare cherished her family; they were her pride and joy and the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Clare is survived by her son, Don Towle (Sandra); daughter, Diana Sammons; grandchildren, Don Towle Jr. (Kasey), LeeAnne Bracy (Matthew), Jessica Maurin (Shaun), and Brandy Page (Scott); great-grandchildren, Don III, Destinee, David, Charlee, Tiffani, Kevin, Hailee, Bobbi, Thomas, Robert, Colleen, and Casey; and great-great grandchildren, Vinny, Lila, Skylee, Ivan, and Josiah. She is also survived by her step-children, Gerald Breaux, Jr. (Melody) and Debbie Keen (Harley); and step-grandchildren, Sunny Breaux, Sarah Garitty (Kevin), and Stephanie Keen.

In addition to her parents, Clare was preceded in death by her husbands, Dominic Towle and Gerald "Jerry" Breaux, and siblings, Charles Levine, Roy Levine, Daniel Levine, and Colleen Levine Sanchez.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, US, on May 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
