

Clarence Lavone Brewer was a native of Metairie, Louisiana. He was definitely someone who was unforgettable. He’s always leaving a great impression on everyone he met. He would always say, “I don’t wanna grow up”. Lavone passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center in Gretna, due to complications of liver failure.
He is survived by his brothers Jimmy, Charlie and James Brewer; his sister
Gail Brewer; nieces Jacinta, Jillian, Kellum, Chasity Brewer, Kristy, Crystal, Michelle Brewer, Cindy Mc Bride and Dawn Breaux; his nephews Kevin Brown and Charlie Brewer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Brewer; his father, James Brewer; his sisters Doris and Linda Brewer and his nephew Chad Brewer.
Lavone had a very hard life from a very young age. But he also had good times. He loved to be the center of attention and the life of the party. He was loved dearly and will be missed more that he would have ever been able to imagine.
A service was held for Lavone on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA, with his loving family and friends attending and conducted by Pastor Carl F. Kihnel from Williams Baptist Church, per his request.
