Clarence Chuyler “Bud” Freeman passed away August 16, 2019 in hospice care at Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson Parish. A native of Florida who grew up in Alabama, he was a longtime resident of Metairie. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly O’Brian Freeman and survived by his son Chuyler Freeman and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Freeman. Bud served in the Army during the conflict in Korea, and then attended Auburn University where he obtained his Bachelors and Masters of Science. He then became an entomologist with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Bud was an avid sailor, outdoors enthusiast, woodworker, martini drinker, and stray animal lover.
