Clarise “Sissy” Foltmer Escott, age 63, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Escott was a native and resident of the New Orleans area until Hurricane Katrina and has been a resident of Shreveport, LA for the past two years. Beloved wife of Arthur “Mike” Escott. Mother of Curt Dupre. Stepmother of Diana Escott, Soyana Escott Jackson, Margaret “Peggy” Escott Hirschey and Michele Escott Briggs. Sister of Pamela Schock and the late Fred J. Foltmer, III. Sister-in-law of Tim Schock and Gwen Foltmer. Daughter of the late Aileen Lagasse Foltmer and Frederick Jacob Foltmer, Jr. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday, September 24, 2010 beginning at 10:30 AM with a memorial service to follow at 12:30 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
