Deepest sympathies to the entire Breaux family.  Many fond memories of this friend from so many years ago. . .  One of my most vivid memories was of his outstanding athleticism, especially in football and baseball, and track.  And, as Lisa Cuizio points out, he was a very good-looking guy and I can't think of a girl in school who did not have a crush on him.  May he rest in peace and you all find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of him.

Uncle Claude,
I will miss hunting lizards with you in Granny's back yard.  Thank you for teaching me to climb trees.  I loved walking the dogs with you.  I will miss you.  Love from your nephew,

Marno, my heart is heavy for you, but please know that  you are in my thoughts & prayers. I never met Claude, but he must have been a super guy to have chosen you as his lifemate. He will forever be in your memories. I love you.

I will always love you, Claude, for the happiness you gave Marno. I know you will continually watch over her like you always did.

For 29 years Calude was a loving spouse and helpmate to my sister Marno. I appreciate him and the special time they had together.

CP...life was so easy during our time at USL when we only had to worry about having enough money for gas to get to campus and a six pack.  I suppose we never realized the challenges that were ahead.  Sometimes our path in this world  is shaped by a single event, and I know you faced that destiny early in life.  You are at peace now with our Lord.   You will be sadly missed by your family and friends.

My Uncle Claude Paul was taken too soon, but he left us with so many fond memories.  His love for his family was strong, as was his love for his animals-I'll never forget his giant black cat, Burton, nor his loyalty to his Mama's dog, Chloe.  His warmth, sense of humor, and wit will remain in my heart till we meet again.  To Marno, his siblings, his grandchildren and especially his Mama and Daddy, I wish you all comfort during this difficult time.

We have many fond memories of Claude, and we will miss him dearly.  May he be at peace now.

Jewell and Claude, Claude Paul certainly had more than one person's share of crosses to bear. He was a gentle person, who didn't complain of his crosses. He'll be in my prayers for the rest of my life.

He gave me my first driving lesson.  And on streets with ditches, too.  Godspeed, Uncle Claude.

Closing my eyes, I can still see my buddy running the football in Sacred Heart red/white & Destrehan maroon/white. I can't begin to recount our numerous escapades but those great memories bring a wide smile to my face. All thoughts of my early days are incomplete if they do not include Claude. My good friend, you will never be forgotten. My sincere condolensces to you all.

As my grade school pal we had a lot of fun and memorable teenage experiences together. From playing football in his back yard and pellet gun hunting in the long gone woods of Norco, to riding our bikes and watching color TV for the first time in his family living room. He will always be remembered as a true friend.

Some of my earliest childhod memories are of Claude and my oldest brother Richard at our Spruce Street house in Norco.  I had the biggest crush on my brother's great looking friend.  I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the family.  It has been a long time but I never forgot Claude.  He was special.

Hi Uncle Claude. Although I feel your time spent on earth was too short, I know that you are resting in peace and you are in a great place now. God is going to take great care of you. I will miss you.
