Clifford A. Turner passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Gail Welborn Turner after 41 years of Sacred Marriage. Loving father of Brian and Mark Turner. Devoted grandfather of Tara Savarese. Proud son of Earline Bellenger and the late Paul Turner. Brother of Michael Turner (and wife, Gwen), Hanson Smith (and wife, Mary) and Debby Tessier (and husband, Alan). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and his pet companions, Sam and Toot. Mr. Turner was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a retired Bio Chemical Technician with Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans after 32 years of service and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him. Aged 60 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Harahan, Louisiana for the past 25 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Restlawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 2605 River Rd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70121.
