Clorinda Rita Reilly Dudoussat

Clorinda Rita Reilly Dudoussat, age 86, of Metairie, LA passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Clo was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 16, 1938 to Edward "Ned" Reilly and Clorinda Thornton Reilly. She grew up in Mobile, AL surrounded by the large, loving Reilly family. Clo attended and graduated from The Convent of Mercy High School and attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. She wrote for the Mobile Press Register, assigned to the Society page. After years as a Homemaker, she then worked many years at Maison Blanche, Saks Fifth Avenue, and as a Volunteer at East Jefferson General Hospital.

Clo was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Louis Maurice Dudoussat, Jr.; her parents, Ned and Clorinda Reilly; her twin brother Edward; and her other siblings, Gerald, Terrence, Ann, Denis, Tim (Linda), Woody, and Mike Reilly.

She is survived by her loving children, Louis Maurice, Angelique, Edward "Ned" (Lori), and Mark Dudoussat; grandchildren, Nicole (Adam), Caitlin (Gabe), Ned, Jr. (Angel), Marisa, Louis "Riece", Conner, and Chloe; great grandchildren, Landon, Ava, Aston, Amelie, and Lilah; her brothers and sisters, Sister Augusta, Antoinette "Toni" (Ashton), Daniel (Kay), and Mary (Richard); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen, Norma, and Julie. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
