Concha “Conchita” Elmore, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Beloved mother of Samanta Amedee, grandmother of Sophie Grace and Jasmin Andrea. Sister of Deisy Roldan, Berta “Tita” Sandoval and Eno Padilla. Also loved by many nieces and nephews. Ms. Elmore was a native of Sanarate, Guatemala and was a resident of New Orleans, LA for 48 years. Ms. Elmore was a devout member of the Verbo Christian Ministries congregation, was a former member of La Asociación de Guatemala en Louisiana and a former member and president of the Guatemala Lions Club in Louisiana. Ms. Elmore will be remembered for her inspirational smile and her delightful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Verbo Christian Church, 2601 Florida Avenue, in Kenner, LA on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
