Beloved husband of Lilia Degracia Lomongo after 34 years of marriage.

Loving father of Leann and Christopher Lomongo and Christie Jones.

Proud father-in-law of Adam Jones.

Devoted grandfather of Malaya and Luke.

Brother of Jacinto Lomongo, Mary Macantan and the late Bonifacia Pagente.

Brother-in-law of Lerma Lomongo.

Son of the late Honorata Patay and Sulpicio Lomongo.

Mr. Lomongo was a retired Marine Engineer, a well traveled Seaman having seen over 70 countries, pioneered the Treasure Chest casino and worked there until 2010.

He loved his family and friends, who surrounded him with love, not only in his final days but throughout his whole life.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Ochsner Medical Center and River Region Hospice for the love, care and comfort that they provided.

Aged 69 years, a native of Siquijor, Philippines and a resident of Kenner, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 6500 Kawanee Ave. Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday morning January 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

A visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd Metairie, on Friday evening January 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, at the church.
