Cyril Sunseri, age 78, died peacefully at his home in Kenner, La. on October 6, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, La. on December 21, 1946. Son of the late Cyril Byrne Sunseri, Sr. and the late Alma Gazin Zammit.
Cyril is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda Loyacano Sunseri, his children Holly (Bob), Brian (Tanya), and Jennifer, his sister Cheryl Decuers, brother-in-law Melvin (Christine). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley (Adam), Joshua (Brittany), Justin, Jenna (Paige), Megan, Madison, Christopher, and Marissa, great grandchildren Phoebe, Haven, Allison, and Reed, three nephews and four nieces.
The Sunseri family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Cyril.
A private celebration of life will be held at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Hope Mausoleum at a later date.
