Daniel Anthony Fogarty III

Daniel A. Fogarty III, age 47, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2016. Son of the late Daniel A. Fogarty Jr. and Emelda Miller Fogarty. Brother of Paulette Salassi (Paul), Danell Barrett (John), and Lisa Kirsch (David). Uncle of Amy (Jerry), Brooke (Josh), Kenny (Tara), J.R., Megan, Henry, Michael. Great uncle of Noah, Brady, Cameron, Landen, Jaxon, Ethan and Evan. Great-great uncle of Olivia. Dan had many, many friends. He loved spending time on Saint Patrick’s Day and Mardi Gras with family and friends. Dan was a long time member of the 11th Ward Men’s Social Club. He was a graduate of De La Salle High School and was the shop foreman at Delta Sheet Metal Works, Inc. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 6:00 pm with visitation beginning at 4:00 – 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Salvation Army to help those in the flooded areas across Southeast Louisiana.
