Darryl F. Porche

It is with a heavy heart we announce that on Saturday, September 17, 2022, Darryl F. Porche passed away peacefully at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Local Union No. 60 for nearly 56 years. Upon retirement, he took ownership of Edgelake Bar for four years, then continued to work as a business agent in the entertainment industry. He lived his life on his own terms and judged no one. He was a loyal friend and trustworthy confidant that helped many. He will truly be missed by all those who loved him.

He is survived by three children, Yvette Boudloche (Sunny), Cynthia Guillot (EJ), and David Porche (Sarah), and six grandchildren, Alex Boudloche, Manny Guillot, Sarah B. Meric (Reed), Rene' Guillot, Eli Guillot, Elizabeth Porche, as well as former wife and mother of his children, Rosalie Porche Lobello (Gus). Darryl is also survived by a brother, Thomas Porche, Sr. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Curtis, and Glenn Porche.

The family would especially like to thank the physicians and staff of Tulane Medical Center, and Fr. Tony Rigoli, OMI of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church & International Shrine of St. Jude.
