David Harold Myers, 81, of Gretna, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home. Born on February 25, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harold and Evelyn Myers. He was preceded in death by his brothers Phillip and Toby Myers and his sister Louann Myers.
David is survived by his two children, David Shannon Myers and Sherri Franklin Mitchell; his 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Fiorello, Kyle Porrazzo, Emma Myers, and Adam Myers; 1 great-grandchild, Elijah Fiorello; his two brothers, Jerry and Matt and his two sisters, Cindy and Linda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
