David Luke Plauche, Sr., age 55, entered into rest on Monday, July 10, 2017. Father of David “D.J.” Plauche, Jr. Son of the late Leeroy Plauche and Janet St. Romain Plauche. Brother of Doris Burrows (the late Mike) and Roy Plauche (Sharon). Uncle of Tony Tardo (Heidi), Jeremy Tardo (Robin), Leigh Ann Plauche, Sarah Plauche Lyons (Jonathan). David was a retired groundskeeper for Lafreniere Park and was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Church. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping. David will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday, July 15, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
