David William Winston

David William Winston, age 48, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. David was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of Wanda Winston for 19 years. Father of William Winston and Carmen Mendez. Grandfather of Gianna Caridi Mendez. Son of the late Donald Winston, Sr. and Caridi Whittenburq Winston. Brother of the late Donald Winston, Jr. and Mary Dorazio. Uncle of David Dorazio and Jason Dorazio. Also survived and loved by many relatives and friends. David was an employee of Home Depot, was a member of Celebration Church and worked with the audio visual at Celebration Church. He loved watching wrestling with his son William and loved taking care of his family, especially his wife Wanda. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Celebration Church, 2001 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, September 10, 2016 beginning at 9:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 10:00 AM.
