She was preceded in death by her parents, Valerie Nolan Small and Dominique Carbone and brother, James A. Small.
Dee was a cherished sister and will be deeply missed by her brother, John Small (Betty), sisters, Susan Brunson (Jim), Cathy Small, Gary Lynne Lipani (Gary), and Patricia Small, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Deanna was a graduate of Mt. Carmel Academy and attended LSUNO and was a long time employee of Pan American Life Insurance Company.
She was a parishioner and Eucharist Minister at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Metairie, LA.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Joseph Carpenter Hospice for their care of Deanna in her final days.
Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 12:00pm. Interment will be in Hope Mausoleum followed by a family gathering.
