DeAun Jeffice Evans Walsdorf , age 87 years, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Beloved wife of the late David A. Walsdorf, Jr. Mother of Grace W. Wilson, Susan W. Fontenot and Sheryl W. Boudreaux. Daughter of the late Anna Grace Myers and Charles Hamilton Evans. Sister of Carroll, David Donald and Gary Evans and the late Charles H. Evans, Lee Ella Lancaster and Lenora Brothers

Grandmother of Wesley and Heather Matlock, Richard and Eric Fontenot, Christopher Juneau, Stacey Bryan and the late Jonathan Juneau. Great grandmother of Kirsten and Nathan Matlock, Jordan Yrle, William Fontenot, Victoria and John David Juneau.

Mrs. Walsdorf was a native of Farmington, NM, a US Navy veteran of World War II and a resident of Jefferson for 65 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services from the Metairie home of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. at 43rd Street of Friday, August 13, 2010 at 12:00 Noon, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, New Orleans.
