Deborah Tyrolf Hymel

Deborah Tyrolf Hymel, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, passed away on October 17, 2024, in St. Rose, LA. Born on February 19, 1952, Deborah's life was marked by her deep religious faith and devotion to her family. Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Rex Hymel; daughters Whitney Hymel Torres(Marc) and Samantha Hymel Senia (Darryl). She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Tyrolf and Iris Lester Tyrolf. Her in-laws Conrad Hymel and Betty Chiasson Hymel. She is survived by Ken Tyrolf and Karen Tyrolf Miller.

Her life was a testament to the love she shared with her family and the strength she drew from her faith. Debbie was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Madonna #1626 for 12 years, and OLPH St. Joseph Altar Society until 2023. She was an active member of the Ladies Leukemia League for 17 years.

Visitation for Deborah will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Inurnment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70119.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Deborah's memory may be made to the Ladies Leukemia League, an organization she cared deeply about. Through this gesture, her legacy of compassion and support will continue to help others.
