
I remember when we were in our mischievous years. We would go to clubs, drink, dance and have fun. You would make me laugh until my stomach hurt. I was your little cousin. You would fuss at me when my shoes hurt my feet from dancing so much. You would say, "Proper Girls do not take their shoes off" "they buy shoes that fit comfortable". You were my beautiful sweet older cousin that I looked up to. You are now in our father's arms. Prayers for everyone who will miss you. R.I.P. my girl until we meet again. Love you Deb.

Terry and I will be unable to attend the service.  Please know that we are thinking of you and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Debbie's family:  The Dakin's grew up with Debbie and Herbie in the Irish Channel.  My dad and your grandpa went hunting together.  We remember them going crawfishing and boiling them in eating them in our backyard.  we  lived in the half of Rabalais Grocery.  We remember playing together.  She was a little girl and sweet. Debbie and I were cousins, but she always referred to me as "the big sister she never had".  I lived either next door to Debbie or only within a few blocks for most of our childhood years and enjoyed taking her with me to movies or for long walks.  We never really lost touch, except for a short period.  I will miss terribly our phone calls to each other, as we always seemed to laugh at life's problems.  I will miss you terribly, Debbie girl.  But, you are out of pain now.  May God keep Pat and Keith safe for you.

I am deeply sorry to hear about the death of Debbie.  May loving memories, love from family and friends surround you during this very sorrowful time. (Isa. 41:10).  It says God will fortify you, he will help you. God will really hold to you with his right hand of righteousness. God's words will comfort, strengthen and give you peace to endure the difficult days ahead.

Debbie and I grew up together, cousins that could not have been more alike. She
lived in NO and I lived in White Castle on  a farm.  She was one of a kind and
was everything of grace and goodness.  I loved her very much and will miss our
phone calls, especially since I didn;t get to see her very much over the last few
years,  We had lots of adventures together as children and shared our most valuable secrets.  When Debbie loved, she really LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY.   If she was still here, she would tell you "Don't dwell on your mistakes, we all make them.  Don't dwell on your accomplishments, we all make them too.  Dwell on the love you give, make sure the people in your life know that you love them, and make sure you receive their love and
hold it in your heart, cherish every moment because you never know when God will call you home. I love you Debbie and will hold your memory in my
