Deborah Thomas Starr, age 65, went to Heaven on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Mrs. Starr was a native of Nashville, TN and was a resident of Metairie, LA for 59 years. Beloved wife of Norman H. Starr for 45 years. Mother of Kimberly McCleney (husband, Scott) and Wade Starr. Grandmother of Dylan McCleney and Mason McCleney. Daughter of James H. Thomas and the late Ruth Glasgow Thomas. Daughter-in-law of Loretha Starr and the late Harold Starr. Sister of Randy Thomas (wife, Doreen). Aunt of Nathaniel Thomas and Mitchell Thomas. Mrs. Starr was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was a faithful friend with a servant’s heart. She will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at De Gaulle Drive Church of Christ, 4700 General De Gaulle Drive, New Orleans, LA 70131 on Saturday afternoon, March 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
