She was born May 24, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Constance and John Wallenburg. She graduated from Ursuline Academy and was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire: Elizabethan Chapter for many years.
She loved playing Mrs. Claus at a local venue because making people happy was among her favorite things. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlepointing, antique shopping, garage/estate sales, and caring for the elderly.
Denise was a very caring woman who always did everything she could to help others and spread happiness wherever she went. Her determination and hospitality served as a beacon to many throughout her life. Her presence will be missed and she will always be remembered with love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cecil Guillera and her parents, Constance and John Wallenburg. Survived by her son, John Howard Guillera and her sister, Sharon Borne along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 1:00 at St. Angela Merici Church and visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 on Friday March 25, 2022.
