Dear D'Anna family,  

The Weisler family sends our deepest condolences.  Dennis was an exceptionally kind man who will be missed by all.  We hope that someday soon the loss and heartbreak you are now feeling will be replaced by comfort from your warm, loving memories of Dennis.  Fondly,

Dennis and I shared a few classes but many laughs while attending De La Salle High School.

I will miss seeing you through the fence and on the porch but I know that you can always see me now. Thanks for being my neighbor and friend.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family of Dennis.  Dennis & I were freshman classmates in 1959 at De La Salle.  I will always remember Dennis as a fun loving person.

Even in the midst of grief, how awesome that we can praise God that he is healed now and in the presence of the Lord.  Hallelujah!

Dennis has an amazing legacy of love and service to our Lord and His people. I am especially thankful for the role he played in teaching, mentoring, and being a friend to my father. His impact for Christ continues through those he loved and served.

Cheryl and I were very saddened to learn of Dennis' death.  I know that no words said will bring true peace, only the God of Peace that Dennis did love can give you that solace and comfort needed during the time ahead.  Dennis instantly made me feel part of his family and his generousity of giving to our little church in Alix, Ar. was such a great gift.  How many others he touched, blessed, and gave to we will only know when we all can be together forever, world with out end.  I look forward to that time when God Himself will wipe all tears from the eyes.

Kathy - I am so sorry to hear about your husband.  Think of all the great memories you had with him and know that you WILL see him again!  Your family will be in my prayers.

Dennis touched everyone who had the pleasure to know him with his warmth, joy and gregarious sense of humour.

Everyone in your Fellowship family will miss you greatly but will take comfort that you will be absent from the body but present with the Lord.

Please accept my prayers and sympathy on Dennis' death.  I was fortunate enough to have Dennis create some beautiful window coverings for my home in 2001 and again after Katrina.  He was introduced to us by Kathy Bedenbaugh and it was a privilege to get to know him.  
In our conversations, I learned that his Mother was the wonderful Miss Anna who had worked at St. Louis Cathedral School cafeteria when I was a student there in the early 1950s.  What great memories that brought back to me.

We have fond memories of Dennis over the years. Everytime i look at my beautiful drapes i am reminded of him. May God be glorified as we remember a true servant who set the example for the rest of us. Cant wait too see you again one day in the heavenly courts.

Mr. Dennis, you always made me laugh and I have many great memories of you from my childhood.  We can ride in the white van again one day!

I was saddened to learn that Dennis had passed away.  I am grateful that I did have the opportunity to see him and speak to him at East Jefferson hospital not too long ago.  He was such a wonderful person and a very loving family man.  So upbeat and fun to be around throughout the years of our childhood.  He will be greatly missed by many.  Much love to his wife and children and his brothers, Ronnie and Paul - their loss is felt by all of us.

Mr. D was an awesome man , he help me much in my walk with Christ Jesus . I can't wait to see him again some day !!!!

Sounds like your Dad deserved alot!

I am in awe of how awesome my God is that He allowed my family and I to work along side Poppiea at FBC. He has literally touched every inch of our church from greeting us by opening the door to painting our Sunday School rooms. The impact of the life he led for our Lord and Savior will be felt and seen for years to come. "Well done my Good and Faithful Servant"...He finished the race victoriously and I am so very proud to be apart of it.

Ruthie and I have fond memories of Dennis and while we have not seen the D'Anna's in serveral years, we will miss him. He was a good man and a good friend. He is now reunited with those who have gone before and enjoying his new home with the Lord. His family left here is saddened but soon we will all see him again. That is the great promise and hope of our faith.

May your faith guide you through the coming days and memories of Dennis sustain you.

I didn't know what to say when I learned of his illness and now I am really at a loss for words to comfort your family.  Dennis was a true selfless Servant of God with a Big Heart and an even Bigger Smile!  My prayers are for you to feel our Lord's comforting Grace and Peace surrounding and supporting you always.
