Dennis William Schultz

Dennis William Schultz, age 65 of Kenner, LA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2026 at his home. Dennis was born on June 23, 1960 in Royal Oak, MI. He worked as a contractor / electrician in both Michigan and Louisiana and was an avid animal lover.

Dennis was survived by his loving and devoted wife, Connie Trahan Schultz; his step-son, Chad Carrone (Claudia); his siblings, Don Doster (Sharon), Sharon Remillard (Bruce), Terry Schultz (Kim), Dave Schultz, and Jeff Schultz (Shawn); his in-laws, Janice Schneller (Philip), Rox Anne Sclafani, Dianne Curry (Eric), Lisa Amedio (Jack), Peggy Trahan, Lois Smith, and Kirby Trahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Walter F. Schultz and Grace Baumhauer Schultz; and his grandparents.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel at 1:00 PM.
