Dolores Ullrich Donahoe died peacefully in her sleep, September 26, 2018, with her family by her side. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, the late Joseph and Ida Hartman Ullrich, and her husband, Jack Donahoe. Dolores was their only child, and was born in Bywater above a bakery owned by her father and his brother, Louie Ullrich. After her father's death, they moved to Metairie where she resided until her death. Dolores graduated from Academy of the Holy Angels on St. Claude Avenue. She worked for many years at Security Homestead until she married the love of her life, Jack Donahoe, on February 13, 1965. They shared a love of travel, dancing and did so frequently with their many clubs. Dolores enjoyed attending the Little Theatre with her friends. She was an active member of Catholic Daughters Court Mater Dei #868, Mascots, Young Elders of St. Clement of Rome Parish, Thomas J. Hanley, Jr. American Legion Post 350 and Auxiliary, Senior Friends and H2U. Dolores is survived by her cousins, John A. Hooper III (Sherry), Cheryl Hooper Eaton (George), Rose Hooper Blizzard (Rick) and their children. Her husband's niece and nephews; Terence Donahoe (Donna), Kevin Donahoe (Katherine) and Erin Donahoe Druhan (Bob). Visitation will be at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6 pm -8 pm and resuming Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10 am -11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial service will be held at 11:15 am at St. Clement of Rome Church on 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana.
