Dolores Yvette (Schexnayder) Masson

She was a resident of New Orleans & Metairie.

She is survived by her son, Louis R Frey (Brenda), granddaughter, Jeannie Settlemire (Dwane), grandchildren, Dylan Settlemire (Becky) & Jessica Settlemire, siblings, Ray Schexnayder (Rose), Paul Schexnayder (Barbara), Rog Schexnayder (Nita) & Mary Angela Scallan (Herman) and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry A Masson, Jr, parents, Edgar & Noela (Frederic) Schexnayder, siblings, Margery Groteguth (Arthur), Grace Schexnayder, Elwood Schexnayder (Thelma), Gloria Schexnayder, Marlyn Staley (Ken), and Phyllis Englade (Clay).

Dolores was a very active parishioner of St Dominic Catholic Church where she served on the Rosary Altar Society as treasurer for many decades. She was a member of the Lakeview Botany Club, where she served as President. She was also a member of the New Orleans Marians, NAIM, Missionaries of St Therese, Friends of Martha and Mary and Chers Amis of St. Benilde Catholic Church.

Visitation & Mass in her honor will be held at St Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation begins at 10am, followed by Mass at noon, officiated by Fr Peter Damian. Interment will be at a later date in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina, LA.
