

Donald Clayton (Clay) Means, age 62, loving family man and longtime resident of Kenner, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 06, 2016. He was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on January 12, 1954. Clay graduated from UNO with a degree in accounting and earned his CPA license. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years Heidi Senner Means. He is survived by his three sons Maxwell Clayton, Dylan Prescott, and Palmer Addison Means. Clay leaves behind a long and successful career at Bollinger Shipyards as a financial controller. He loved the game of golf, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Saints. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, puzzles, word games, and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his friends, coworkers, and family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana on Sunday afternoon, February 14, 2016 at 3:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm. Inurnment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to The American Heart Association are preferred.
