Donald "Donnie" Warren Senft Jr.

Donald “Donnie” Warren Senft, Jr., born on September 12, 1975, gained his angel wings in New Orleans on August 29, 2026. He was surrounded by the deep love of family. Donnie brought extraordinary light into this world to everyone who met him. Though he faced profound medical challenges throughout his life, he taught everyone around him the true meaning of patience, resilience and unconditional love. Donnie loved to listen to Saints games on television and also his favorite cartoons. His smile, sparkling eyes and hand squeezes will be missed.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated nurses, doctors and caregivers who provided the compassionate care and became a part of our extended family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Don and Sunny Senft, devoted siblings, Robert “Bobby” Senft and wife Jennifer, Brad Arnone and wife Michele, Patrick Arnone and Emileigh Senft, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his aunts, Carol Ann Senft, Karen Brown and Tami Wells.

Donnie was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelyn Ann Hoyt in addition to his paternal grandparents, William Davis Senft and Marie Brock Senft, and his maternal grandmother, Mary Herold.

A celebration of Donnie’s life will be held on September 2, 2026, with a brief visitation at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, Mississippi followed by a gravesite ceremony at 1:00 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church cemetery in Ebenezer, Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to any Cerebral Palsy foundation.
