Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Wilbon Bordelon; her son, Robert "Bobby" Bordelon; her parents, Peter and Lola Finnerty; her sisters, Mercedes, Beverly, Carol, and Blanche Finnerty.
Survivors include her loving children, Gary Joseph Bordelon (Kim), Sharon Marie Bordelon, Randy Paul Bordelon (Beth), and Lori Ann Weiss (Erik); her grandchildren, Stephani, Caitlyn, Vivian, Lola, Dustin, Ashlyn, and Alyssa; and her great grandchildren, Maddie and Landon.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
