Dorothy Margaret Leefe

Dorothy McDougall Leefe passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Beloved wife of 57 years to John Leefe. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Albertha McDougall, and her siblings, John McDougall, Sr. (Grace), Cleo McDougall Krail (Paul), Graham McDougall, Sr. (Rosemary), Miriam McDougall and Barbara McDougall Bartfay (Alex). Aunt of Pamela Bartfay Rice, Cheryl Bartfay Scripter, Vanessa Bartfay Wetzel, Paul Michael Krail, Mary Krail Flores, Kathleen Krail Charvet, Maureen Sharon Krail, Dr. Graham McDougall, Jr., Douglas McDougall, John McDougall, Jr., and the late David McDougall and Sandra McDougall. Sister-in-law of Carl Leefe (Joan) and the late Alfred Leefe (Margie).

A native of New Orleans, LA and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mamie McDonald for her loving care of Dorothy, to the Sisters Servants of Mary and also to the staff of Amedisys Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
