Douglas Byron Keaton of Kenner, LA was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, August 9, 2013. Doug is the beloved son of Mae and Jim, brother to Jimmy, Kim and Randall, father to Ashley and Douglas II, and grandfather to Cooper, Caroline and Maggie.
Doug attended Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie and LSU in Baton Rouge, LA where he majored in Construction Management. He most recently performed Emergency Relief and Loss Verification for the Small Business Administration in response to natural disasters throughout the southern U.S. Doug was founder and owner of DBK Construction and Maintenance, LLC specializing in projects at Target, Mervyns and Community Coffee of LA.
Doug lived life with love in his heart and laughter in his voice. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. We're comforted in the knowledge that Doug's spirit will live in our hearts forever.
