Douglas John Ramagos

Douglas John Ramagos passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 60 years of Geraldine Nash Ramagos. Son of the late Willie Ramagos and Lorena Richard Ramagos. Loving father of Theresa Ramagos-Litzner (Harold) and Tammy Ramagos. Brother of the late Leslie Paul Ramagos. Brother of Doris Ramagos Pourciau and Joyce Ramagos Jackson. Grandfather of Evan Douglas Spieckermann. Douglas was born in White Castle and resided in Metairie for the majority of his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Krewe of Caesar for 20 years. He retired from Shell Oil Corporation in New Orleans after 32 years of dedicated service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society are preferred. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the prayer service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014 at 12:30.
