Step-father of Frank Lipps, Patricia Magee, Bobby Serigny, Frances Johnson, Joseph and Louis Lipps, Sandra Mayer, Peter Lipps, Sheila Morgan, Darren and David Thomas.

Brother of Gloria Otero and Gary Crosby.

Son of the late Lena Guidry and Joseph Crosby.

Also survived by numerous grandchildren , great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Doug was a United States Army Veteran, a retired Tug Boat Captain, a song writer and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Aged 79 years, a native of Lafitte, Louisiana, former resident of Kenner, Louisiana and a resident of Hillsboro,Texas for the past 3years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Monday morning, January 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Restlawn Park Cemetery.
