Miss you Big E, when we meet again I'm sure you'll tell me all about the universe and everything you got to see so far.

I found a box today, with treasures of our times together, your Golden Oval frame with your pastel baby picture you sent to me, A fishing brochure with our picture on the front page.So many pictures of our life together, our cards, our memories. Journal entries of how your heart was pure to try & pass on wisdom to everyone you knew, making them feel important & larger than life. How you would give your last dollar to a stranger if it put a smile on their face. To the times when a multimillion dollar company tried to cut cost's by stopping employee's Christmas bonus you reached into your own pocket as the Manager & provided everyone with something to make them feel their hard work & dedication was appreciated. The most treasured were the poems you wrote to me over the years, and even having them published so I would like to share your poems with all those who loved you. Rest In Peace Jet! This poem you wrote for me was submitted into a contest & was honored by being published. Titled "APART"... Apart,  As I awake in the solitude of the early morning, the moon is waning in the last of the night sky, casting it's Silver upon the still waters.  Reaching into the coolness of the water, the feeling of loneliness of my heart begins to leave.  Aware that as the waters of the Oceans connect so does our Love. A gentle breeze brings back memories of your touch, smooth and warm as it brushes across my face...  To the East, a new day approaches, it's soft glow pales in comparison to you. The golden crown of the day arises, giving hope & faith that this will be the last day without my love. I raise my eyes up to the sky to catch that fleeting wonder of nature, the time between the Night & Day, knowing that they may never touch.  Time is on my side as I await my loves return, never more to be APART. Dedicated to Little Red.... 2nd poem is titled  "To Write No More"  As I sit here & watch the birds fly away it reminds me of what it is like to be free.  One can only remember what that is like.  Of all the things that I have done in My Life, Good, Bad, Indifferent, nothing has compared to the emotions I have had of late.  Being that this world is full of Happy, Sad, Lonely, Joyous people I find that it takes all of those types to make the world what it is. All fill a place in life.  So as life goes on, so do I, looking for that place to be. If it is to be a world of Self then let it be so.  Time is on my side because I have no place to go.  I will indulge myself in my work & console myself with the memories of the past & the dreams of the future.  I write this not for me, but for those who need to find that place in life that needs them the most.  I say go forward, face all challenges with a Smile, Grit, Strength, Courage & Compassion.  If I may be so bold as to say I am giving it My Best, then let the road ahead take me where it lies.  People are always worrying about what others say, but when we are gone "What Does It Matter?," only if we are Confident in our decisions on the Path To Life. WRITTEN BY EARL G. WISECARVER JR.


Thanks for all the good times. I will keep those memories in my heart forever. I will miss the phone calls, and the afternoon conversations at your house. I will pass on the wisdom and knowledge you shared with me every chance I get. You will be remembered always and forever missed. Well, my best frenemy, thanks for leaving me with all these crying babies. A little heavenly intervention wouldn't hurt. I will miss our good long talks. I will miss your wisdom and humor. I will miss your incessant phone messages - which now seem to be a collector's item amongst the children and me. I wish you could have stayed with us longer to enjoy our precious grandbaby. So, there's no doubt you will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace. Love you always.
