

Earline Probst Pizzuto, 96, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 30, 1927, in New Orleans, LA, to Earl Anthony Probst and Edith Kreger Probst, Earline was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas L. Pizzuto and siblings, Edward Probst and Joslyn Probst. Earline is survived by her brother, Anthony Earl Probst; children, Roberta Thompson (TJ), Robert Pizzuto (Kim), and Nicholas L Pizzuto Jr.; her six grandchildren including Marshall L. Perez Jr, Shellby Pizzuto, Robert Pizzuto Jr, and Melissa Lee; her 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A proud graduate of St. Stephens High School, Earline later worked as an administrator for Eagan Healthcare. Throughout her life, she cherished her time spent at her fishing camp on Bayou Norman in Lafitte, LA. An avid gardener and birdwatcher, Earline also enjoyed crafting latch hook rugs and decorating her home for every holiday, with her Christmas Village being a particular favorite.
Earline’s warm presence and love for her family and friends will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those that know and love her.
To honor her wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, where loved ones will gather to remember and commemorate her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Earline’s memory to St. Joseph’s Indian School at PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
