Edward Anthony Van Vrancken, Sr., age 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Husband of the late Florence Mae Icard Van Vrancken. Father of Edward A. Van Vrancken, Jr. (Rita), Gerald Wayne Van Vrancken (Mary), Deborah Ann Guidroz (Karl). Grandfather of Michelle Anderson, Duane VanVrancken, Jeffrey Van Vrancken, Kevin Van Vrancken, Lauren Van Vrancken, Connie Tompkins, Gary Van Vrancken, Julie Boudreaux, Jennifer Hanon and Rebecca Hooter. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren. Brother of Charles Van Vrancken, Joyce Menner and Dottie Prados. Son of the late Edward Van Vrancken and Edna Mathis Van Vrancken.
The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in LakeLawn Cemetery.
