 As many has already said Mr. Cole was one of a kind.  He was my first WELL DRESSED, Professional and kind administrator.  Everyone that spoke to him after Ms. Zoe was born heard about her at work. My children, Kendra and Kenneth, and I wish to express condolences to the Cole Family. Please know that his gentle way of delivering testing results to children was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. We pray that the family remembers that Mr. Cole had a gentle kind spirit and professional manner that he used to prepared students to receive "not so good LEAP test news"  at Mary D. Coghill. In tough times children need adults like Mr. Cole. He will be sadly missed. We are praying for you.

I have known Elbert for over 30 years as both a co-worker and close friend. i will always cherish the memories of the good times we shared at Booker T. Washington HS. He was an excellent husband,parent, & friend. Zoe was his world. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Heartfelt condolences.  May you find comfort in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Mr. Cole will be greatly missed by the School Counselors of the Recovery School District.  He was the thread that held us together and played a huge role in our team approach to providing services to the students of the district.
