My heart is incredibly heavy for the San Martin family, yet it is touched with fond memories of listening to stories and playing games with Mrs Elena. She was a perfect example of "you're never to old, to be young" and although we won't meet again here on earth, I am eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to know her and the beautiful family she created.

Mrs. San Martin will always be remembered fondly in my heart. I'll never forget how what may have been an unpleasant post-hurricane experience turned into one of my favorite memories because of her. All it took was Mrs. Elena and a deck of Uno cards. I taught her the rules and she wanted to play again and again because she was competitive and wanted to win! It was so much fun and we must have played a hundred times. We played, talked, boiled eggs, and we laughed and laughed!
She was a joy and will remain a joy in my heart. ❤

The loss of our Tia Helen has saddened our entire family. She was so caring and extraordinary. She always made me laugh, even when she wasn’t feeling well, she always worried about everyone else. I am so glad we got to see you for your birthday and spent some quality time reminiscing and reconnecting. I hope the precious memories you carry in your heart will help you through this challenging time. Heaven has added an Angel! You are forever in our hearts and prayers. We will miss you. Love Dawn, Brandon and Connie.

Tia, I will miss your sweet voice, your laugh and the fun moments we shared a number of times. My consolation is that we'll see each other in heaven and enjoy good times again... along with Tio , Belen, and I can finally meet Papo. We offer our condolences to the family along with our prayers.

So happy we were able to celebrate your 90th birthday and able to enjoy that special moment with you and the family. God bless, I know you are resting and at peace now. Tia un abraso, te quiero mucho!
