Elizabeth “Liz” Reed Bourgeois entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Beloved mother of Antoinette Bourgeois Martin (Ryan), Melissa Ann Bourgeois and the late William John Reed. Proud NaNa of Jaden Martin, Rian Martin, Ava Bourgeois and Isaac Bourgeois. Sister of Rita Zimmerman and Milton William Reed, Jr. Daughter of the late Ann Rodriguez Reed and Milton William Reed, Sr. Loving Nanny to Brandon Matthew Johnson (Victoria). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Liz was a native of the Irish Channel and was a resident of Metairie, LA for 17 years. Liz loved to cook and was always the life of the party. She was a parishioner of St. Benilde Catholic Church and was a former member of the 11th Ward Social Ladies Club and Out for Fun Club. Her babies were her world and her love and sacrifices for them were limitless and immeasurable. Liz will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
