Ella R. Foto

Ella R. Foto passed away peacefully entering her savior’s arms on May 18th 2024 at the age of 90. She was married to her husband John A. Foto for 65 yrs. before his passing. Ella was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Edrington and Emelie Borne Edrington her brother Robert Edrington two sisters Joyce Edrington Rapp and Gloria Edrington her grandson Nicholas Foto. She is survived by her sons Tony Foto (Marilyn), Tommy Foto. Grandchildren Ashley Foto Wiebelt (Johnny), Drake Foto (Eden), Jenna Foto Alexander (Mitchell), Jennifer Perrier, Christopher Perrier (Lisa). Great grandchildren Cole Russell, Lily Ella Sharai, Griffin Wiebelt, Ellie Foto, Ryder Foto, Remi Foto, Harper Perrier, Emile Van Haelen VII, Emery Van Haelen. She will be missed by her faithful dog Ginger. Ella was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 54 yrs. Maw-Maw Ella was an exceptional cook and hosted many Holiday Gatherings for family and friends. She was a devoted Catholic served as a Eucharist Minister, member of Lay Carmelites and Adoration Chapel at St. Edward the Confessor Church. Ella was also a member of the Contessa Entellina Heritage Society. The family would like to thank Gwen Becnel for all the help and loving care over the past few years. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to celebrate Ella’s life on Friday June 7th, 2024, visitation from 9:00-11:00 am, mass immediately following at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 4901 West Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70001.
