Ellis Gordon George, Jr., age 73, passed away on his birthday, Thursday, August 1, 2013. Mr. George was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. He is survived by his wife, Gussie Clements George; his daughters, Kimberly Triano (husband, Dominic) and Courtney Ard (husband, William); his grandchildren, Ryan and Jace Ard and his brother, Dr. Gerald George (wife, Janet) of Lafayette, LA. Mr. George was a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Army and he was an insurance claims adjuster for 48 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at St. Christopher Church, 309 Manson Avenue in Metairie, LA on Friday morning, August 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM.
