Ernest Louis Rodrigue, Sr. passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 10:00 pm surrounded by his wife and close friends in Katy, TX at the age of 90. He is reunited with his son, Ernest Rodrigue, Jr. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Roxie V. Rodrigue. Also survived by his sister, Clara Milano of Baton Rouge, LA and nieces and nephews.
Ernest was a devoted Christian and an active member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Jefferson, LA for the past 50 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the 1940s. In addition, he was an avid gardener and walker.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will be in Our Lady of Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft, LA.
