Esther Picou Callia

Esther was born on December 6, 1936 in New Orleans, LA to Lee Picou and Katie Selhoffer Picou. She married Tommy Callia in 1959, and the couple had three children.

Esther is survived by her three children, Katie Callia Martineau (Al), Tommy Callia, Jr. (Holly) and Susan Callia; and her grandchildren, Kelly Callia Hogan (Adam) and Sevi Callia. She is survived by her siblings, Marie Picou Jeanfreau, Gayle Picou Dardar, David and Gary Picou; Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Katie; and her siblings, Anthony, LJ, Catherine, Jeanne and Marian. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

A Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial is schedule on Friday, January 27, 2017 at St Ann Church & Shrine located at 3601 Transcontinental Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation is from 9:30am – 11:00am. The Holy Rosary will start at 11:00am and the service starts at 11:30am. Interment will take place at Garden of Memories.
